Here is what everyone is waiting for, Benjamin. He was born at 0624, Sunday June 4. Daddy was at work while mommy went into labor at 0230. She called daddy at work and discussed plans. She wasn't sure what to do, so she took Riley for a walk then took a shower. Contractions continued. At about 0330 Lana called our friends Gerry and Paul. Lana drives over to their house and drops the kids off. Paul kindly drives Lana into the hospital (despite Lana's water not yet broken).
Ed meets Lana on the OB floor around 0430. Labor is not too fierce at this point in time.
Dr. Gorman comes in about 0530 and breaks her water. Things pick up. Ed calls help to come in early and relieve him. Help arrives at 0605. Lana is still walking around and finally decides to lie down around 0615.
After a few strong contractions and two or three pushes, Benjamin arrives!!!

About 15 minutes before the big event.
He doesn't look too happy does he? I think he wants to go back. He is about 10 minutes old at this point.
Here he is! Very shortly after delivery.

Nineteen inches, 6 lbs, 13 ozs. Our lightest, but our longest!
He is a great breast feeder, which pleases Lana. He is a boob man like his dad!!
